Quantum Keel is an executive advisory practice serving private equity firms and healthcare technology companies during periods of transition, risk, and change.
The firm is led by Richard Cochran, an experienced technology executive with more than two decades of leadership as CIO, CTO, and CISO in regulated healthcare and healthcare-adjacent SaaS environments.
Quantum Keel is structured to provide senior, hands-on leadership at the point of greatest need - whether that requires a single accountable executive or a small, purpose-built team assembled to execute critical work.

It establishes objectives, constraints, and risk tolerance; surfaces realistic options and tradeoffs; and provides leadership with a clear basis for next steps - grounded in an informed understanding of the organization’s technology, operating model, and risk posture.
Typical engagements run 3–6 weeks and conclude with explicit decision options and recommended paths aligned to leadership’s stated goals.
From there, we can step away, remain available in an advisory capacity, or continue in a fractional or interim executive role to support execution, based on leadership’s needs.
